Lovely apartment for a comfortable short stay Positive: Tastefully and seemingly recently decorated. It was a comfortably sized appartment for two adults + 1 toddler. Very well placed for visiting the shops and the beach. Whitmor bay is a nice sandy beach with a lively atmosphere. We only stayed for 2 nights so didn't get to explore much but it seems like a nice town and coastal area. Appreciated the coffee machine and 2x pods. The florists underneath are lovely people and we bought a souvenir from them. Negative: Minor problems were balanced by the lovely interiors and good location. It's a very basic kitchen set up - it was enough for 2 nights eating easy meals/takeaways. People staying for longer would benefit from more kitchen utensils such as a cheese grater, colander or sieve, mixing bowls, more chopping boards, cake tins, different sizes of roasting dishes etc. Tea towels, a washing up bowl and *clean* sponge would have been helpful, or just replace one of the cupboards with a dishwasher. Some basic cooking aids and condiments would have been greatly appreciated such as oil, salt etc. Aircon would be helpful in the summer. It was quite hot, which is an unavoidable side effect of the large windows. The squeaky bedroom door needs oiling, and the bathroom door needs trimming so it doesn't stick. And unavoidably noisy on the high street but it didn't bother us too much as we weren't sleeping in that room. The sofa bed has some odd stains on but I think it's from people eating in front of the TV. A high chair or booster seat would have been helpful. Please could you add some curtains to the bedroom because the blind lets a lot of light in. These are just intended to be maintenance comments for the hosts and not a reason to not visit again.

Perfect Positive: Perfect location. Spotlessly clean and modern decoration

Positive: We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved everything! The room was very clean, bright, spacious, and beautifully presented. Everything was of the highest standard, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We are truly grateful for such a great experience and very happy that we chose this hotel. If we visit this region again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality – we highly recommend this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Positive: Located close to amenities and train station. Suited our stay as visiting to see Metallica in Cardiff. Negative: Good shower but shower cubicle a little small. Sofa bed had old unidentified stains on cover.

Excellent stay Positive: The location was wonderful by a florist in the best street in Barry full of cute shops and eateries. The accommodation has been tastefully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had excellent customer service as we had an issue with our luggage which was accommodated. We were so grateful. Negative: Nothing
