Great location but tired property Positive: Great location and parking for two vehicles, beds were comfortable, and bedding was clean. We didn't have enough towels, but as soon as we messaged, we got more towels delivered the same day. Negative: Not very clean, was quite tired, and some appliances, such as the toaster and washing machine, didn't work.

Overall, there is clearly potential here, but the property needs some real attention before it can live up to that poten Positive: The location of the property is great to be close to the town and near by beaches. Negative: Unfortunately there were several issues significantly detracted from our stay. * Cleanliness: The property was generally unclean, with a strong smell of damp. Dirty socks had also been left behind. * Kitchen: It was relatively unequipped. Despite being listed in the description, there was no milk, and there was no salt, pepper, cooking oil, cloths, cleaning products or washing-machine tablets. * Maintenance: There was no lock on the bathroom door, the single mattress had a significant dip and needs replacing, the single-bed sheets had a stain, some plug sockets appeared faulty, and the iron was unusable. * Outside area: Jagged bricks made parking difficult, the outdoor seating area was generally unsafe particularly for children with ladders and bricks left lying around. * Missing/incomplete amenities: There were DVDs but no DVD player, radios without batteries, and lights without bulbs, which made some of the advertised/available items feel rather pointless. * Deposit: somewhat unexpected request for a deposit shortly before our arrival. The neighbours were noticeably unwelcoming and seemed particularly fond of communicating their feelings through music. We tried hard to be considerate as we are from a touristy location ourselves. Humming and playing song at us with pointed messaging as we were parking felt like a rather childish way to express their discomfort with the property being used as an Airbnb. This, and a four page angry letter directed to the owner left at the property added a bizarre layer to the stay.

Good value for a larger group in Mumbles. Positive: Good value for money. Great location and large house. Negative: There was a mouldy smell downstairs in entrance hall. Bathroom shower leaks onto floor around the basin which needed to be mopped

Bad experience Positive: Not being in the house Negative: The smell of faux whatever was plugged in to mask the smell of damp. Needs a proper clean!! Looks like someone has started to do the house up and has run out of money Back garden is awful do not take children it would be totally unsuitable unsafe. As you can imagine we won't be going back....ever!

We really enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful area. Lovely clean house! Positive: Off road parking as roads were narrow to park a large car. Good price to stay somewhere to explore area. Clean house in good location to walk down to front. Fluffy white towels and crisp cotton bed linen. When called the customer team, they were very helpful and accommodating. Windows all had blinds in bedrooms and lounge to block sun/heat. Neighbours were lovely and helpful re area. Negative: Hopefully the rear yard area will be tidied to provide seating area outside. Has potential for a nice little area for guests to use. There were some chairs but not clean to use yet. The kitchen supplies were quite basic. Would benefit from having a breadboard and baking sheet for guests to use. Personally, I didn’t like the smell of plug in fresheners in house. It didn't need them. No one is allowed to smoke and house had no smells to mask. I unplugged for our stay. Air freshener smells are personal taste. There was no information to explain how to use tv and the one disappearing at bottom of main bed. Those who aren’t used to latest technology and some of older generation would benefit from user guide. Be nice to have some written material in house maybe in a folder, saying where nearest shop is to get provisions. Lots of little roads down and up hill and wasn't sure which way to walk. Neighbour advised. Distance to attractions be good to plan stay. Again, some people of older generation don’t have smart phones to view information online.
