We had a lovely weekend, house was comfortable, with lovely views. It was also close to Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs. Lov Positive: Clean, tidy, comfortable. Negative: Few small things, perhaps more kitchen utensils. List of where things were and out to use them (WFI, Heating, etc).

The worst accommodation we have stayed via Booking.com Positive: That the property was in Mumbles Negative: The overall cleanliness of the accommodation was poor. Some of the kitchen equipment was left dirty, as were the inside of the kitchen cupboards and there was no cleaning equipment available despite the website stating there would be. Other areas of the kitchen and even the stairs had not been cleaned or hoovered properly. The toilet flush upstairs was faulty and so was the back door handle. These had been raised before in previous reviews. The property also had bare wires connecting the extractor fan in the bathroom and the tiled shower area was mouldy and had clearly not been cleaned before our arrival. We were so disappointed and have tried to contact the property before leaving our feedback on here but they have not even bothered to answer our correspondence or comment on the photos we sent to them after we raised these issues with them.

Positive: The staff response was excellent Negative: The parking is on street and on a big gradient outside.

If the kitchen was revamped, it would be perfect. Positive: Great location - 5 min. Walk to the middle of the Mumbles. Living room and bedrooms were great - pool table kept my daughter and me entertained for hours! Negative: Kitchen was a little outdated and there was no dishwasher, which would be better if at full occupancy.

Positive: Location was great with a very short walk to all the town amenities. The pool table at the property was a lot of fun and good entertainment. Negative: The property is described as trendy but we think a better description would be to say it's a period property with some modern features (wifi, big screen tvs). The property needs a bit of updating and things like locks on bathroom door etc needs sorting out. We looked high and low for an ice cube tray but couldn't find one anywhere, although the kitchen was pretty well equipped otherwise. Despite notifying the agents of our car reg twice, I was asked a third time to supply the details before I finally received an acknowledgement. I was also told that the £195 security deposit would not come out of my bank account but would just be held until we checked out with no breakages/damages......I was surprised to find that the money had actually been taken from my account 2 days before we checked in!! I hope to speak to someone regarding this issue tomorrow.
