Would not stay again Negative: They will charge you a non refundable fee to collect the keys out of the box unless you have £195 sitting around in your bank account that you weren’t hoping to use. Wish I’d known that prior to arriving at the apartment. Tried to call them to get the heating up and running for my 2 night stay. They replied 45 mins before I was due to check out and offered to show me how to set the heating.

Negative: The damage waiver, £20 more to stay. Would have been polite to let us know before booking. No refund.

Positive: Loved the location and the style of the apartment. It's been really tastefully done. Old photos of the shop downstairs were a really nice touch. Contacted the staff before checkout, really helpful and efficient and answered my query very quickly. Have already booked this place again for another trip to Barry as I'm searching for a home in the area. Negative: Access is a bit fiddly but can't be helped and was very secure. Fair bit of noise but that's to be expected from such a central location.
