Girl's Trip Positive: The location was really good, not far to walk down to the island and to Gwen's house, if your a Gavin & Stacey fan. House was tidy and was really lovely. Would recommend for your stay. Easy to find key and good instructions on how to get into the house and what to do when you leave. Also, on the high street where the house is, loads of bakeries and shops if you want a browse. Negative: We said/paid in the booking that there was three people staying, would have thought that there would have been bedding for the sofa bed, as it states it sleeps four people, but here wasn't. Had to go out and buy a blanket.

Safety issues,need’s refurbished Positive: The comfy bed , and central location to all amenities. Negative: Well I will start from when I got the keys.There were 3 keys, 1 for the alley gate which was already open,the 2nd one for the back gate which we didn’t use as there was no lock on it anyway,the 3rd one for the apartment.Going down a dark alley at night isn’t good for 2 women with no lights,that’s the only access to the property. The back yard is grubby certainly wouldn’t sit in it for my morning cuppa,needs a good jet washing. bathroom: The bathroom needs renovating it’s seen better days,the stick on floor tiles havnt been fitted properly and not finished.The door needs replacing the panel all loose,and the panel were the lock is was all split with 3 screws keeping it on.The shower needs grouting,and no hot water from the bath. Kitchen: Cupboard front missing,no heat detector or smoke alarm fitted. Bedroom: Worse room in the house.Obviuosly as had a leak in the ceiling awhile back and never been fixed properly.Wall paper hanging off there,and in a few other places as well.It had filled badly with plaster and never painted.Needs fully decorated.Wires hanging from a block of wood,very dusty plastic plant. In all bad workmanship all through this property. No smoke alarms,or heat detectors anywhere in the property,not safe for an holiday let

Good value accommodation in a great location Positive: Great location close to shops and cafes, and a shortish walk of about 15mins to the beach. The accommodation is clearly well-used and hard-working, but the bed was excellent, it had a large comfortable lounge, and a small but useful outdoor space which was useful seeing as we travelled with a dog. Nice that the property management company checked with us during our stay in case of any issues (there were none!) Good value for money. Negative: No real issue, but I'm not sure why the check-in instructions are held back until 15mins before the check-in time. Whilst everything went well and instructions were clear once provided, with us travelling a long way it meant we had to travel and get to the property with our fingers crossed that the instructions would appear without any issue and be clear, with the risk that we might be chasing someone for help once we got there, hoping they would be responsive (most are - but of course a small minority are not!) It also would have also felt a bit more transparent if the cost of the additional pet charge was made clear on the listing and provided before making a booking. I was aware that an additional charge might apply, so was expecting it and have no issue with extra being charged or with the amount - it just would have been nicer to have been told the amount up front before booking. There is a risk it could feel to some like a bit of a 'gotcha'. Having sad that, the property was still good value.

Cosy, fab location, will be back! Positive: The property was so lovely and cosy it felt like staying at friends house. Loved all the touches and bonus to have kitchen so could cook our own dinners. But spoilt for dinners locally too. We had curry one night what was so good. Negative: Nothing about it

Perfect location, clean and very welcoming. Stayed twice before and can’t wait to stay again Positive: Location, cleanliness and comfort, couldn’t fault it at all Negative: Nothing!!!!!
