Positive: Easy parking . Easy access. Nice to have tea coffee etc when we arrived. Contact was good.

Great location, enjoyed the stay but wouldn’t recommend unless the price reflected the state of the room. Positive: The location was very good, very close to various different food outlets and a few different pubs. Also 5 mins walk to train station or bus stops to get to Barry Island. Location was also quiet Negative: I appreciate the building is quite old and the decor inside is nice but does very much need a new lick of paint all over and there was lots of scuff and chip marks to paintwork in every room. The bed and particularly the sofa bed/settee were not comfy if you spent any length of time on them. The settee especially needs replacing, it’s really not comfy to watch tv on and also had a cover over it which had been put on to cover up numerous stains underneath. One of the cushions also had a stain on. The cleaning also left a lot to be desired. The most obvious was a dried amount of toothpaste on the front of one of the bathroom cupboards, the skirting boards were thick with dust in places , there was dirty marks on the internal doors, dust webs hanging from the living room ceiling and mucky marks on the windowsills. Also a bit of mould on the coiling in the bedroom, It didn’t feel like it had a proper clean in a long time. The communal corridor is worse and doesn’t give a good first impression at all. I think this property looked great when it was first decorated and furnished but hasnt been maintained well at all. This is the first bad review I’ve wrote and I’ve been on a lot of short stays in the UK but I do think there’s no excuse for basic cleaning and maintenance.

Convenient and comfortable Positive: Great location, good parking, a good size apartment with comfortable bed, wifi and basic useful facilities Negative: The apartment needs to be a bit cleaner - a dirty microwave/kitchen tiles; mould on the walls in the bathroom; lots of dust on the top of headboards under the sofa bed. Floors needs to cleaned more.

Positive: Security and facilities Negative: Stay wasn't long enough

Never again Positive: The property had everything you would need for self catering, kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils ect. Hosts were very helpful Negative: They had builders in the stairs going up to the apartments, turning up we had to walk through dust and ruble. Got woke up early by the plasterers music on the first day, I did speak to hosts who contacted the builder and got it turned off. Second day got woke by drilling and banging. The apartment should not of been let out like that. Wasn't impressed with the £25 non refundable damage waver that is sent you you as soon as you pay. With that and late check out it cost me best part of £200 for two nights. The bed was so uncomfortable I'm in agony. Got woke up both days but builders. Offered £30 good will gesture which next came! Also the bathroom was very mouldy down the back of the toilet, around the window, the shower mat was disgusting as was the bath plug.
